Alfredo Barreto, Jr. is a Managing Director at Objective, Investment Banking & Valuation focused on the consumer industry practice. With over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory, Mr. Barreto brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
Before joining Objective in 2024, Mr. Barreto served as a Managing Director at JMP Group, where he advised corporate clients in the cannabis and consumer industry. Prior to that, he was a partner at Wood Warren & Co., a boutique investment bank in the Bay Area specializing in the food, beverage, and agriculture sectors. His extensive career also includes leadership positions as a Managing Director at The Silverfern Group, overseeing financial sponsor coverage, and as co-head of West Coast consumer and retail investment banking at J.P. Morgan Securities. Mr. Barreto began his career on Wall Street with roles in the mergers and acquisitions group and the global retail coverage group at Morgan Stanley & Co.
Alfredo holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from Columbia University. Mr. Barreto is a FINRA-registered securities representative holding the series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses.
