With a commendable track record at Objective, Mr. Pujol has been instrumental in leading the firm’s Valuation Advisory Services Practice, contributing to its expansion efforts in Los Angeles, California.

Jordi is a vital member of our Valuation Practice, skillfully working with a diverse client base, from startups and small businesses to large portfolio companies owned by families, Venture Capital firms, and private equity giants,” comments Channing Hamlet, Managing Director. “He is at the forefront of steering the Valuation Practice towards better catering to growth businesses, particularly within the technology, life sciences, and SaaS sectors. Jordi’s expertise in assessing intangible assets and intellectual property has been vital in navigating deals across technology, healthcare, and life sciences. At Objective, he maintains a comprehensive focus, managing valuations for public clients, navigating complex internal and external deals in the private markets, and executing licenses and pre-raise business valuations for venture-backed businesses. His efforts in making valuation a consultative service showcases his commitment to our firm and our clients.

Prior to his 2-year tenure with Objective, Mr. Pujol served as a Senior Manager at EY (Ernst & Young), where he was an integral part of their Corporate Finance practice under Strategy and Transactions (SaT). Specializing in the Technology and Health & Wellness sectors, he led numerous valuation engagements for a variety of high-profile clients, emphasizing his knowledge in the enterprise software, healthtech, medtech, and biotech industries.

Mr. Pujol brings close to a decade and a half of experience in financial modeling, covering a broad spectrum of financial services including business valuations, goodwill impairment testing, purchase price allocations (PPA’s) and investment holding valuations, working with corporate and institutional investment companies. His substantial experience in audit support reviews, thanks to his Big4 training, further underscores his expertise and commitment to the highest standards of practice for both private and public companies.

Jordi Pujol has recently become prominent figure in the Los Angeles business community, actively involved with multiple key organizations such as ACG Los Angeles, ACG 101, Exit Planning Institute LA, and ProVisors where he contributes to discussions on industry trends and best practices. His participation extends beyond membership; he is a regular at events organized by the Wharton SoCal group, several LA incubators, and local law firms. Part of his goal during the past 2 years has been fostering relationships with key referral partners, which are an integral part of providing a comprehensive service to our clients. Furthermore, Jordi is passionate about contributing thought leadership articles on the Objective website, is a Top Voice on LinkedIn, and has guested on well-known business and finance podcasts.

Jordi received his Bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, has a Masters in Finance from EGADE Business School (ITESM), and completed his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, a designation awarded by the CFA institute to investment and financial professionals and is part of the Los Angeles chapter.
